Like a BUTTERFLY , I am growing and changing and finding my TRUE COLORS in life. I am TRANSFORMING, finding my WINGS, and going HIGHER and HIGHER.
My journey was not a straight and narrow path. It was instead filled with many trials, as I figured out what was best for me. I was checking with an internal knowing, something deep inside me to see if something "felt" right. Which led me to know with all certainty that this journey was more than just addressing my physical health. I knew I must address my health on all levels - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. My poor choices (on all aspects) were affecting me adversely.
So I started meditating to not just find inner peace, not just to get away, but to invite reflection into my life. Daily and devoted meditation practices, even fitting in 10 minutes a day at first, led me on a path of self discovery that changed my life for the better!
I first found that I no longer struggled with sleeplessness. I started making better food choices that offered my body nutrition rather than emotionally eating to counteract stress. I increased my water, stopped eating meat, started reflecting internally before reacting externally as I so often did before. The results were amazing, and it truly all started with committing to a daily practice of adding something good to my life - knowing that I deserved it.

Stress Buster #1: Meditation
For years, a very good friend continued to advise me to begin a regular meditation program. I kindly accepted his advice, yet never immersed myself completely in the practice. I was either too busy, bored, didn't realize the health benefits, or was just plain lazy.
